Sometimes I get so busy I forget to share some pretty fun shoots that I have had the privilege of shootingWorking for and with West Michigan Style Magazine is one of those fun shoots! I have worked with them for over a year now and have shot a cover and inside spreads for them

Here are two videos of the last shoots.  We just finished another cover shoot yesterday and I will be sharing the finished product of that when it is finished! YAY!

Hi Guys!

More South African Adventures. This is Kalk Bay. This was my very first morning in Africa. Ali took me to this quant little cafe known for their fresh squeezed orange juice and chocolate croissants.  I also discovered fresh STRAWBERRY JUICE too! What? Yes…so so good!

Ali drew me a map so I could get my bearings on where we would be traveling and where our little town was. I can tell you this…my heart was full of so much excitement in this little cafe as we chatted about the beauty of Cape Town and where Ali was going to take me. She TRULY was The.Very.Best Tour Guide.  I would joke and call her Cape Town Tours. We “popped” into every nook and cranny we could fit in 2 weeks and it was an Amazing Adventure. I hope you all come back to see the rest of my travels!

Meet and Curtis and Senika! Talk about a fun session! You will see from the images how adorable this couple is and how much we laughed despite the changes in weather all within in a hour:) ha

At one point it was overcast…then rain, with HAIL? YES! Then sunshine! Totally normal for Michigan 😉 They just rolled with it and their images are just too good!

Senika and Curtis! Oh…goodness…loved spending time with you and getting to see your personalities shine during this session. I hope you had a fun date night afterwards and can.not.wait. until your September wedding!

Hi Everyone!

Have you all survived the harsh winter here in Michigan? I know that today the sun is shining and that is a glorious sight to see!

I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with how to adequately explain and share my Amazing trip to South Africa and have just decided to split it up into different posts so it’s not too much all at once:) ha

I must add that I had previously no knowledge of Cape Town, South Africa prior to my trip. I was simply meeting my husband’s cousin, Ali, who is a missionary in Pemba, Mozambique and I knew she started her missionary work at an orphanage in Cape Town. Other than that…It really wasn’t on my radar. I can now say that Africa has stolen my heart! This trip has forever changed me in so many ways. More on that later…

Today’s post features one of the Most Stunning Beaches I have Ever Seen! Nordhoek Beach! It’s breathtaking, really. This was my first day in South Africa and you will get to see through me eyes just how Gorgeous and Magnificent this land is! I hope you enjoy and if you ever get the chance to visit one day…PLEASE DO! (be smart and be safe, but it’s a must on your travel list in my opinion!

I quickly realized that everything is served in large portions in Cape Town. I could not finish this local beer…albeit delicious on this very warm summer day! * winter back home so this was heaven on earth!
