Hello, Everyone!

 

I hope you all had a beautiful summer! With the cooler temps here in MI…you definitely feel fall in the air! Although I am sad to see summer go…I truly LOVE fall as it is one of my favorite seasons here in Michigan!

 

I wanted to share some exciting news here at Kelly Braman Photography! I was recently honored with Junebug’s Wedding: One of the World’s Best Wedding Photographers!

Junebug Weddings is proud to be an internationally popular, multiple-award winning online wedding magazine known for outstanding imagery and the most highly-vetted recommendation lists of wedding professionals found anywhere. How exciting, right? It came as such a surprise to me! I continually pray about what God wants me to do with my business and then this. I am so honored and truly do love the path that I am on. I know this is exactly what I am meant to be doing in this moment.

So…thank you to all of my AMAZING clients! You have all helped me grow into the photographer I am today. I have made so many friends throughout my journey… both professionally and personally as many clients have become dear dear friends. I feel so incredibly blessed and am beyond grateful.

Hello, Everyone! Just another little peek at some GORGEOUS couples I am honored to photograph! They are truly beautiful from the inside out! So many blog posts to come. This is my super busy time (soo incredibly blessed to be busy) so blogging has to take a bit of a back seat as I pride myself on everyone receiving their images in a timely manner! Meet the Williams Family! We met this fun family through baseball:)We soon became fast friends as our boys are roughly the same age & Keith and Deb are so funny and sweet! Dillan, the oldest, is just the most charming boy with such a sweet spirit. My Jack and Dill are great friends. Did I mention he is a great ball player too?:) Logan is adorable and funny is an understatement. My Charlie and Logan get along great and can play wiffle ball until the stars come out! They are troopers at their big brothers baseball games and they are such good boys.

 

This session has everything I love about photographing families. Real connections, love, and belly laughs you can almost hear from looking at the photo.  Photographing boys is very different than photographing a family with girls. They are hesitant. They don’t know what to expect. I am a mama to boys…so I know all too well the feeling upon arrival. I hope you can see from the imagery that everyone had a great time! It wasn’t painful..haha…and this family will have these memories forever. Their boys will grow past their mama and they will one day look back at these photographs with such fondness of a wonderful summer and a sweet time in their lives raising two unique and special boys. Why must they grow so fast? Thankful for photography to freeze these moments in time.

I almost typed…meet Heather, but honestly…you can’t forget this adorable family. I couldn’t be more excited for the Haveman family as they prepare for the arrival of their 3rd little boy, Ford. Heather and I are great friends(she was a client first…I just love that) and we were chatting about documenting Ford’s new awesome nursery and her baby bump all the while capturing her sweet boys, Jett and Beckett around their adorable Grand Rapids, MI home. I have to say…if you are looking at these photos are thinking…I never looked this great while pregnant or my house isn’t as cute…no worries…not many are! lol  Heather is a talented designer and as you can see from the images…no detail is overlooked in her adorable & stylish home. And..she is an amazing mama to boot. I just love her.

 

Ok..back to the images…I had so many favorites it was hard to narrow down. I adore in-home lifestyle sessions. The boys loved showing me their rooms and we laughed and laughed as they bounced around the house *maybe* jumped on mama’s bed. ha  Our children change and grow so quickly so I love offering my clients these memories that truly are so fleeting. ps. Daddy was hard at work during this session. So many times we don’t have images of just mama and her babies so I think this session is extra special because it truly captures heather with her boys. I would give anything to have these memories documented with my boys…I think that is why I have such a heart for these type of sessions:)*le sigh. lol

 

Sweet, heather. I am blessed by your friendship. I adore your family and love seeing it grow. I can’t wait to meet yet another baby bear soon! Ford will be more than loved!
