I have been one busy little mama lately! Whew! I will be leaving for family vacation to upstate NY to watch my oldest son play in a Nationwide Baseball tournament. Then we will head up to our old stomping grounds of Vermont! I am really looking forward to a little down time and I love spending time with my family:) If you remember…please keep us in your prayers. My husband, Micah, (one of the coaches) will be traveling with the team and I will fly to join them after my Saturday wedding:) Ya’ll know I don’t like to fly! ugh, but I will not let fear stop me:) ha

Meet the Carlson Family. Jamie , Kristen and sweet little Asher were so fun to photograph! Kristen (and Jamie 😉 are talented photographers and friends and I have known them for many years now. They recently moved to California where Jamie took an Amazing position at Tesla Motors. How awesome is that?! Kristen wanted a fun and fabulous photo shoot to document their move and Big Adventure out West! Hey Gorgeous Events created some fun props and created the most beautiful bouquet you ever did see! Fancy Frey was on hand with a vintage tandem bicycle too! Thanks, guys! They went out in style!

 

We headed to the lakeshore for a beach session to signify their new home in Cali that will be full of water, waves, love and laughter! I am soo incredibly happy for this sweet family and know their new journey together will be Amazing!  They will no doubt miss Michigan, but they have so many friends they have made here I know I will see them again! Besides…I am already of dreaming of a time that I can sneak to San Fran for a visit! How fun would that be?!

 

Jamie and Kristen…thank you for allowing me to document your sweet family.  A beach session with a toddler is always interesting to say the least 😉  but Asher (full of curiosity and wonder) was so sweet! I hope you look back on these images with fondness of your time in MI and know we all miss you already! I look forward to seeing  how your life unfolds in the next chapter!

Awe…how fun to catch up with Joey and Danielle?! I simply love it when couples stay in touch and I get to photograph them again! Joey was home on leave ( He is a marine) and Danielle called in hopes of a photo shoot while he was home. I was happy to oblige! We met up on a beautiful night near their hometowns. Danielle and Joey have a wonderful connection and it was so fun to laugh and goof around with them like old times:)Joey is super funny and jokes a ton! Danielle is SUPER sweet and loves her man. It’s quite fun spending time with them! Did I mention she had the most fabulous sunglasses on? When I mentioned I totally needed a pair…she offered to go back to the store and ship me a pair! Yup..that’s how great she is! I am now sporting my new Awesome Coach Sunglasses! YAY!! Thanks,again, Danielle!!!

 

Joey and Danielle…thank you for trusting me with your memories and documenting your love! I couldn’t be happier for the two of you and it was so.much.fun spending the evening with you both! I wish I could have made it to your get together! Next time! Enjoy your early 1 year Anniversary shoot images! I LOVE THEM!!! And YOU!!

Meet the Byler Family.

 

Sweet Kim from 834 Design and Marketing contacted me awhile back about a shoot for her and her husband(SO FUN) and she also wanted to purchase a gift certificate for her husband, Josh’s side of the family. How nice, right?! I just love her! We held the session at the family farm(where I took these cutie’s pics) and the night was simply perfect! The light was gorgeous and everyone had a great time as you will see from the imagery! I LOVE shooting on farms so how fun for me too!

 

Byler family…thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to spend with me! I love your session and it was fun to pull each couple aside for a little fun shoot too! Here is a sample from your shoot!
