Hellloooo Monday! Did you all have a great weekend??? I sure did! Not being on FB is freeing up my time and my mind 😉 It’s good for me! I hope you all enjoyed your downtime doing something you love or spending time with your fam! We are always pretty busy around here with two active boys. I really love being their mama so I do enjoy the friends over and belly laughs from every room in the house! I do not love the messes, but eh…such is life, right?!

Well.. one of my highlights this weekend was photographing Greg and Amy. These two sweeties met me in the morning for their snowy engagement session. I will tell you more when I post their entire session, but here is one to tide you over:)I am soo excited to share the rest! Suuuchhh a fun session!!!!!!!  I truly am blessed with Amazing couples! I really mean that. I am thankful as I type this. Enjoy your Monday everyone!

Hi guys!  Happy Friday!

I just wanted to leave you with a bit of encouragement heading into the weekend! Now that I am committed to NO FB for lent…I am excited to see how God works on my heart during the next 38 days:)

As I was doing my devotional this morning…I was reminded of how incredibly blessed I am. Can you think of 5 things you are thankful for? Even if things are going badly in your life today..can you still find 5 things that you are blessed with?

I am truly opening my eyes to the little things in my day to day life that make my heart happy. It’s almost so silly to write down but here goes:

1. my husband drawing me a bath last night (who says drawing a bath???…haha…I guess me 😉  what else would I call it ??! lol)…so simple..yet, so sweet of him. I NEVER take baths and I just thought…that sounds super relaxing. I am ALWAYs working so this was a nice treat.

2. time with my boys. I am soo fortunate to be able to be at home with my boys during the week and I have truly been enjoying spending quality time with them. Now that I am committing to slowing down and being present when they get home(getting all of my work done while they are at school) this is making me feel less stressed and happy to hang with them. I used to work all day and all night. Sneak in dinner and I can’t even tell you the last time I watched an entire television show. Setting boundaries for myself is key. It’s been lovely!

3. snuggles with sully. He makes my heart happy.

4.girlfriends. they keep it real with me and do not tell me what I want to hear. they love me unconditionally and cheer me on! I know we all want the very best for each other and we acknowledge our paths are very unique and different and that is awesome! I am truly blessed.

5. Sunsets. I am in awe of them. I take tons of pictures of them and feel God drawing my attention to Him. He truly is the most wonderul artist and I just love seeing his beauty in the sky.

Of course..I have a ton of  other things to be thankful for …but, these were on the top of my head. Stay focused on the positive and when life gets heavy…help someone else and I promise you…you will in turn..feel better!

Enjoy your weekend, everyone! I am headed to a fun photograper baby shower.  I know they are busy with the details and will not check my blog so I will share these sweet little gifts I picked up on Etsy. When I opened the package…I felt a wee bit sad, as well as excitement for my friends!  I remember like it was yesterday when I brought each of my boys home. They fit into these little onesies and it was such a sweet time in my life. Exhausting and overwhelming and sweet all wrapped into one. And this folks…is why I LOVE photography. Time is so fleeting! Enjoy the moments and be thankful for it all.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Can you just “feel” the love in the air?? No…well…maybe this post will help you 😉

The talented Rhi from Hey Gorgeous Events asked me to be a part of this girlfriends styled Valentine’s Day shoot! I was super excited when she started describing her vision for the shoot and all of the amazing details she wanted to incorporate into this fab and fun shoot! I knew the right girls to call! Kelly  was one of my sweet brides from last summer and I just adore her! Her family is equally as sweet and I knew she would be a great fit to model for our shoot! We follow eachother on Instagram and I knew she loved her girlfreinds who were adorable, as well! Perfect fit!

While shooting this I kept thinking…I want images of myself and my girlfriends too! 😉 What great memories and a fun little excuse to get together!

Rhi asked other talented vendors to be a part of the fun shoot too! I will list everyone so you can all check out these Amazing Ladies!!!

We were so thrilled with the whole shoot!!! We were even more excited when The Every Girl featured it on their blog! How exciting!! Check them out if you haven’t!

Without further ado:

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share a few of the things I am loving right now! I am a girl so I love to know what other girls like too…hence the post! I stumble across things all the time and thought it would be fun to share!

These are the cutest and with Valentine’s Day tomorrow…they would be perfect! Of course I would wear them all year round so if anyone wants to purchase these for me 😉 …I wouldn’t object! ha And who doesn’t love Anthropologie??? Right?

I adore Etsy! You can find the cutest little custom things on here! I sent a link to my husband ( I send links randomly to him so this is not new 😉 But this time he purchased this for me and it was the SWEETEST *surprise* gift EVA! He also gets a Huge High Five for getting the date right!!!!! Go Micah!  He said he was actually looking all over online for a cross necklace for me so if you ladies have any links of necklaces you love…do tell! I have been eyeing this one…but, I am not sure…what do you all think????  Is it too small??? help a sista out!

ok…this one is a little pricey, but would last and is a staple piece! See how I am talking myself right into purchasing this??? ha  My girlfriends laugh at me because I am the girl with the brown leather bag…Always! I don’t love bling or shiney or colorful…nope…give me basics and I am happy!!! 😉

What about making these for the sweeties tomorrow? I have been cutting out red dye so when I saw that it’s made with box cake…I almost didn’t post. But, let’s be real. You can’t be perfect and these look awesome!  Moderation is key 😉 And if you don’t have time for these…throw some candy hearts in a dish and serve with a smile! Your loves will love them! You can talk about which hearts they received and what they say…hours of fun..haha. But, for real…candy hearts are just fine:)We don’t want Martha to feel threatened right away, right???:)

ok sweeties…that’s a good amount of eye candy for today! Take a peek! If you are anything like me…it’s fun to peek at the sites and see what others like:)

Enjoy your Day! A fun Valentine’s Day post is tomorrow! You won’t want to miss it!

ps. this is good.
