  • Welcome to Kelly Braman Photography

Meet Joey and Danielle! Joey is in the Military so planning for Danielle was a bit more of a challenge trying to plan things around his leave and missing him more than we wil know:)I am so appreciative of their sacrafice for our country!    I first met this sweet couple at their engagement session. We laughed easily as Joey is surely a character and Danielle goes along with his antics! They sure are perfect for each other…both so sweet and kind! It’s so fun to meet and get to know my couples at these sessions. When I arrived at the wedding…I knew Danielle might be a bit stressed about the weather. We had discussed it the week prior to her wedding day and we planned for complete rain. I never really thought it would rain the entire day…we all know how MI weather can be:) Well…it did rain ALMOST all day and you know what…Danielle just went with it. She trusted me and took risks of stepping out in the rain and having fun with umbrellas and kissing in the down pour! Gosh, I love my brides! You are the Best, Danielle! And Joey was great too! He wasn’t too awfully worried about his hair so it was all good ! 😉 hehe

You will see from the images how much fun we had and we did not let the rain dampen our spirits! It will truly be a day they never forget!

Danielle and Joey…thank you for allowing me to document your day! It was so great to meet all of your friends and family…everyone was so kind and sweet! Thank you for thinking of Selena and I and giving us such a sweet gift basket and making sure we were taken care of all day! I just adore you!

Enjoy your images..I know you have been excited to see them!

Danielle - Thank you Sheila! You’re so sweet! Kelly did such an amazing job! So glad she documented our day for us and it’s definitely one that we will remember!ReplyCancel

This sweet family is most definitely a favorite of mine! The lovely Dee was a past bride of mine and is now a great friend! Don’t you just love that? I sure do! I am so thankful for her and her friendship! We are not able to see each other often as life keeps us busy, but it’s so fun to laugh and be silly  with her when we catch up!

Chad and Dee welcomed little Scarlett Mae into their family a year ago. Isn’t she a little doll? It was time for updated family photos and fall is surely my favorite time of the year so I was more than excited for their session. You must know that Baby Scarlett is a curious thinker and had NO interest in me, my camera, her parents singing songs (loudly:)or any other antics we tried! I think I need a behind the scenes video to show you all how funny it truly is! We laughed so hard and I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome. We even grabbed some shots of Scarlett laughing:) My Jack was the same way…a much more inquisitive baby and not overly smiley to anyone except mommy and daddy:) I love how God creates each baby unique and special:)

Chad and Dee…thank you for making the trek out to my property to see me:)I hope you adore your images as much I enjoyed photographing your sweet family! The love you share with each other and with sweet Scarlett Mae is so awesome to witness and I’m so glad you make the time to document your little family! They truly do grow soo fast!

love and blessings,

Oh Bobby Mo and Margaret! I hope they don’t mind me calling them that on the blog! I simply adore this couple! Truly!  They have graced this blog before and have become a permanent feature on my website! Yup…I like them! They are genuine and sweet and laugh easily together.  Their wedding day was perfect.

Margaret and I had been in correspondance leading up to the wedding. We knew that rain was on the horizon. I drove in from St. Joe the morning of the wedding and Beth and I were greeted with blue skies! I couldn’t have been more happy!  Bob and Margaret were blessed with gorgeous weather, amazing friends and wonderful family to help them celebrate their wedding. I enjoyed meeting everyone and Loved working with Desiree and her assistant…they were not only fun and sweet, but incredibly talented!  The Ballroom at the Peninsula Hotel was gorgeous! The whole day seamlessly flowed together and you will see from the imagery that everyone had a great time!

Bobby Mo and Margaret! I hope Hawaii was fabulous! I hope you always stay in touch as I miss chatting with you:) I know your life will be filled with love and laughter and tons of sarcastic banter..as it should be!

Oh, Sam and Katie! Where do I begin? This couple is truly melt-your-heart-sweet and I loved being a part of their wedding day! Katie I and chatted about the possibility of rain on her wedding day. I always say to have fun with it and the chance of it raining the ENTIRE day are usually pretty slim! Katie prepared with adorable purple polka-dot umbrellas and their images couldn’t be more beautiful! I must also add that Katie completely trusted me and although she envisioned images in a field..she was excited to see Sam and it didn’t matter where that was:) LOVE THEM!

Sam and Katie…I hope Aruba was fabulous! I am so jealous and need to book a vacay stat! I hope you love your images as much as I loved pouring over them for this blog post…I had a perma grin the whole time editing them!

Gosh..so many great moments from their day..here is a small sample:)  ps. you will notice one image that is in a “field-y” area…the rain let up for 2 seconds at their reception venue and we grabbed this shot! YAY! Enjoy!
